Estrus. Females begin their estrus years at about 2 years of age. Each estrus period shall last no longer than five IRL days and shall come about once every two months. This is the time you may breed if you did not know.
Mating. All members may produce offspring of their own, EXCEPT for slave or whelps, of course. However, you must have permission from the alpha(s) before doing so. And if you want to roleplay it out, go somewhere else please xD. Females are allowed to go out for a one-night stand if you're desperate for children with loners, as long as they aren't an enemy. But no rapes. Also, your mate must be an ally or part of the pack, otherwise say goodbye to him/her.
Limit. This is harsh, but it's reality. If you have more kids than the alpha/beta if they had any, however many more you have will either be eliminated or adopted by the higher ranked. All Alpha offspring become heirs, no one else's kids.
Growth. Whelps must be birthed inside the den and must stay there for two weeks minimum. They are born blind and deaf and will stay so until about five days IRL. This, since for the first year they age 12 weeks = 12 months, is two months. Once they reach four months ( four weeks ), they will be weaned and will eat meat. They reach the juvenile stage at six months ( six weeks ) thus earning the rank subordinate. From then to their adult life stage they will remain there unless earning a different title. There will be training to be done, almost like school, for juveniles to attend and learn on their desired position other than subordinate, and will be taught by whichever adult holds that ranking. After you turn twelve months ( 12 weeks ), you may age how you desire but cannot age slower than real life time.
NEW Training - All of the pups have to grow up sometime, right? Well this is regarding that. Pups have to learn to be whatever profession they want to be. They can't just be a pup one minutes and an experienced fighter the next, no.
At 6 months, pups can start their nonviolent training. Training that teaches them about their surroundings, and tracking, scent marking and all of those good things that help add knowledge to these young minds.
At 8-10 months, pups will begin their more demanding training. They will be taught to defend themselves and strategies to attacking their opponents, as well as beginning to spar with their siblings in order to become stronger and more experienced.
At 12 Months, pups shall apprentice underneath of one of the higher ranks, depending on what occupation they want to be. If the pup wants to be a fighter, then they will apprentice under someone that can teach them the skills necessary. Same goes for everything else. When the pup's teacher finds that they know all that they need to know, a ceremony shall be held and the pup will be awarded the rank that they have worked hard for.
